“Practice shows that sports agents are frequently the victims of unilateral revocation by football players, who are attracted by other sports agents or even invited by clubs to get rid of their agent in order to avoid paying their commission under a tripartite agreement, as it is customary. [...] The aim of this case law study is to attempt to show the extent of the sports agent's compensation in the event of wrongful termination of the mandate by the player, depending mainly on the diligence of the agent throughout the contractual relationship, and thus enable practitioners to assess, depending on the prism adopted, the risk or stakes of possible litigation.”
